In WoW, it goes like this: attack the dude dressed like a priest. duh.
In SWTOR, this: hmm...him or him...well...uh...oh sh** AHHHHH!!! *too late*

In wow I actually tried to play as a priest once, never again will I do that again. The first time I went on a group pvp match five vs five, all the horde characters immediately attacked me first, then the game after that and so on. Its a horrible class lol.

I love being a healer, granted I've never done so in PvP. It seems the new generation MMOs have corrected the WoW PvP problem by doing things like not allowing characters to walk through or target through other characters, allowing the healer to stay behind the tanks.

I don't see everyone healing ... healing allows for a seperate type of character that becomes necessary to the game. I'm actually leery about the uniqueness of characters in this game ... everyone wants to be Obi-won or Darth Mal ... I think we're going to see a ton of jedi's and sith running around, and let's be honest, there are only so many colors for a lightsaber. Unless they make a nice variety of classes that MUST work together to be sucessful in the game, they might as well rename the game to the Clone Wars.

I understand the problem, I hope that you have to sometimes depend on differrent classes in the game. Like lets say you are in an instance and one way leads to a pack of rancors, while the other way leads to an easier path. In order to access the easier path you need someone able to stealthfully get past the traps that would destroy the other path, so you get a class which is proficient in doing such to come with you. I just like to feel useful while in a raid or such, otherwise its just hopeless when trying to find a group to do instances with.

All out I love healing in any Rpg or Multi Player game.
TF2 for instance (shut up, it's my favorite game I've played this year) is fun playing as a medic, especially since it's so balanced out and fun to play, you feel like your actually helping out, if you're a good enough player you can even take out your Needle gun or Killsaw and kill nearby enemies.

And for the topic, I've had some fun times as a priest in WoW, gotta be responsible.
